Hello. I would like to start a small vps hosting company and I would like to use Proxmox.
Can you please recommend me a good server and what should i look for? Also please let me know where can I keep my server (co-located)?

1200 Euro for an good server is not to much...
Depends on your services, but i think you need space and good io (e.g. mysql-databases...).
round 350,- for an good HW-Raidcontroller, 100,- for the BBU. 4 disks (raid-10) an then are not so much left for chassis, cpu, ram, powersupply...
