thanks for the quick reply. and also many thanks for your disponibility to compile a kernel. You know, the thomas-krenn-server we would like to buy in a couple of months, costs $ 10'000, so I have really to be sure. Today I demonstrated the proxmox to my IT-team and there was a big enthusiasm.

you go for a intel modular server with the brand new nehalem modules? good decisions. we were already in talks with tk and others, so just contact them and I am sure they can do a test for you - or ask them to get in touch with us - easier when the customer requests.

also, we try to get such a modular server in our test labs for a month or so as this is very cool solution, especially together with our new storage model for Proxmox VE.
