New Directory Storage Not Active?

So I am new to ProxMox and was using Xen before. So I know some of what is going on but I can't figure out how to fix this? I got two LVM storage for VMs and I want to add my samba shares into ProxMox for monitoring space used on each drive. They are NTFS because I have to have it that way for my other windows machines. Seems that only one is active, but the status of the others are no instead of yes. How do I make them active? I have added them into storage by directory and just used container as default since I don't have any other options like just plain storage.

Think I figured it out! When I used fstab to auto mount the drives, for some reasons I had them mounting as read only. Went and made them mount read and write and after a reboot ProxMox started to show the size of the other drives. Only found this solution after trying to configure samba to share the drives over the network. Silly mistake really, thank you for the reply.

Hi! I think that I have the same bug.....
Will fix need rebooting or re-installing the node?
I have 3 nodes....2 of them were installed from 4.0 iso..and updated to 4.3-3..and there is lsblk:
root@pve3:~# lsblk
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
sda 8:0 0 820.2G 0 disk
├─sda1 8:1 0 1007K 0 part
├─sda2 8:2 0 127M 0 part
└─sda3 8:3 0 820.1G 0 part
├─pve-root 251:0 0 96G 0 lvm /
├─pve-swap 251:3 0 70G 0 lvm [SWAP]
└─pve-data 251:4 0 638.1G 0 lvm /var/lib/vz
sdb 8:16 0 558.7G 0 disk
└─sdb1 8:17 0 558.7G 0 part

Third nod was installed from 4.3-3 iso.....and lsblk:
root@pve4:~# lsblk
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
sda 8:0 0 279.4G 0 disk
├─sda1 8:1 0 1007K 0 part
├─sda2 8:2 0 127M 0 part
└─sda3 8:3 0 279.2G 0 part
├─pve-root 251:0 0 69.8G 0 lvm /
├─pve-swap 251:3 0 8G 0 lvm [SWAP]
├─pve-data_tmeta 251:4 0 96M 0 lvm
│ └─pve-data 251:6 0 185.5G 0 lvm
└─pve-data_tdata 251:5 0 185.5G 0 lvm
└─pve-data 251:6 0 185.5G 0 lvm
sdb 8:16 0 558.7G 0 disk
└─sdb1 8:17 0 558.7G 0 part

Will they work correctly in PVE Cluster ?

Hi, Can it still be that I get the inactive directory from this bug as of today?
Cause my lvm with ext4 formatted storage is not getting active, I cannot find any way how to make it active...
Kindly look:

Please don't reply to an ancient thread (>4 years old) - open a new one and post your '/etc/pve/storage.cfg' there
