New cluster vpn mtu gre problem

Hi,

I'm trying to setup a new cluster with three nodes throw VPN to make a small HA.

I'm usinc tinc for the vpn and ovs to bridge the node with gre.

It's working quiet well but i'm getting some issue with ssh and https. It is impossible to make it working !

I thinks it is a mtu problem but i don't know how to fix it.

Does someone has an idea ?

You'll either have to figure out how much overhead the different layers have and set the MTU for the interfaces accordingly. You could try to use tcpdump / wireshark to take a look at the packets or use a lower MTU and slightly increase it to see up to which size it works well.
