Need to access a CoRaid SAN via AOE

It looks like AOE support was dropped in the 1.6 release of Proxmox.

I'm not really familiar with Debian based systems, could anyone suggest a way of getting the aoetools installed. I had thought about installing from source but since there is no development tools on Proxmox that's not an option.

I thought I read that in a thread but maybe that was for OpenFiler.

In another Proxmox forum post you told the user to just install and configure AOE. When I try apt-get install aoetools I get "Couldn't find package aoetools".

Now if I could only figure out why apt-get fails to find it. This is a completely stock install of the Proxmox 1.6 iso downloaded last week. My /etc/apt/sources.list file looks right I think.

Yes, I've run apt-get update previously. And I just ran it again before executing the apt-cache search.

# apt-cache search aoetools
returns nothing.

Thanks Tom, that did the trick. I switched to ftp.mx.debian.org/debian and re-ran apt-get update. Now I'm able to see aoetools in the repository.
