need help using added storage

Hi,
if you use OpenVZ (what you wrote) only the /var/lib/vz-Volume is normaly usable. You can use bind-mounts to map other filesystems to dedicated VMs. Search in the forum for hints.

I think you can
a: expand your pve-data lv (which is mounted to /var/lib/vz)
b: use bind mounts

Have the migration between host in mind for the decision.

I was able to extend my volume group into the other drives to use the space. It wasnt the original way i wanted to go about doing it but it gets the job done so all is well....for now!!
