Need Help Setting up VLANs

Ok here is my setup. I have a dedicated server with Proxmox VE 4.2 installed. Because of this I don't have access to the physical network set up, so I am not sure if what I want to do is possible.

I am intending to use a WHMCS module to provision Proxmox VMs to sell to clients for my web hosting business. The module has a neat feature that lets clients create their own private network for their VMs. This requires having VLAN tags set up on the network.

What is the best way for me to go about getting two VLANs set up? Using a linux routing distro on VM? Is what I want to do possible without knowing the details about the network infastructure at the hosting company that provides my dedicated server?

Never done this myself, but as far as I know all you have to do is configure a bridge for each customer (i.e. vmbr0001, vmbr0002 etc) and assign this bridge to VM's that need internal traffic.

The thing is, I have no experience with VLANs so I'm a little confused. The WHMCS module that provisions my Proxmox VMs needs a "VLAN Range" that I enter that is suppose to enable them to manage their own private networks.

I'm confused... that appears to be some kind of product from OVH for creating VLANS between datacenters and public clouds and such.
Are you suggesting i use a vRack in this situation some how?

I really just want to create to VLANs and have the tags to provide my WHMCS module so that clients can create their own private networks

If you want to use advanced networking feature in a datacenter, you should really talk to these guys directly.

But as far as I see, you would need the vrack option to get what you want. But better ask OVH directly.
