I have LSI controler 3108 and 2x6TB disk in raid 1
Setup computer is boot UEFI mode.
When I install Windows 10 or Debian 9.1 system boot OK
Proxmox default installation, not boot.

I checked partition on disk
Proxmox:
1. /dev/sda1 2048 start, size 1MB Bios boot
2. /dev/sda2 4096 start, size 256MB Efi system
3. /dev/sda3 rest of disk type Linux LVM

Debian:
1. /dev/sda1 2048 start, size 512MB System EFI
2. /dev/sda2 rest of disk tyle Linux LVM

Can I change default Proxmox instalation?

you need to turn off the secure boot in BIOS.
it only supported by Windows and lately by some Linux kernels.
you should be able to still use UEFI boot just no secure boot option.

Secure Boot is diable
6TB disks is 4kn sector, SAS interface

On 2TB SATA normal 512 sector disks Proxmox boot OK

it seams like Proxmox installs as legacy boot with EFI redirect (not sure if this is the right way to describe it. )
==> " /dev/sda1 2048 start, size 1MB Bios boot" <==
and legacy boot does not support anything larger than 2Tb for boot disks.
maybe some one here can stir you the right way. I usually do not install on anything this big.
I normally use something like small SSDs for system and leave the large disks for data.
are you really set on LVM setup ?
I would say try using ZFS Raid-1 option for setup and see if it works for you.
Proxmox VE 4.3 and up supports ZFS raid-1 install.
