I have machine which was upgraded from old proxmox versions. Everything is vorking mostly fine now. But today I noticed that there are two kernel packages ready to be updated:
promox_kernel.JPG
Shouldn't there be just 4.15.xx in case of proxmox 5.2? I did upgrade system previously according wiki so all upgrade procedures should be OK.

output of
Code:
dpkg --list|grep pve-kernel
Code:
ii pve-firmware 2.0-4 all Binary firmware code for the pve-kernel

Can I just safely remove old *-pve kernels meaning 4.4.xx -> 4.13.xx? I found good post on forum about removing kernels: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/clean-old-kernels.42040/#post-204417

I would like to bump this threat. Please anyone from proxmox team can confirm that it is safe to remove old kernels/which one.

yes, you can safely remove the pve-kernel-4.13 meta package once you have switched to pve-kernel-4.15. you can also safely remove all pve-kernel-4.XX.YY-Z-pve packages except for the latest and the one you currently have booted.
