I have a Minisforum MS-01 with the core i5 processor. For reference, it has four network interfaces, two use an Intel x710 with SFP connectors and the others are an Intel i226-V and and i226-LM. I am using the i226-V (2.5Gbps) interface as primary for network connectivity.
With Proxmox v9.0 installed, the speeds tested using speedtest-cli and iperf3 are about 300Mbps down and 10-50Mbps up. The cable is a cat6, and I have swapped it with a known-good, changed ports, etc. When booted to a Manjaro Linux live image, the transfer speeds on that port nearly max out, about 980Mbps in both directions.
Manjaro was using Linux kernel 6.12 when I checked, and Proxmox is using Linux kernel 6.14.8-2 according to the release notes.
I've updated the MS-01 firmware and have gone into some rabbit holes with ChatGPT/Grok/Gemini, and haven't really been able to make much headway.
Others seem to have reported issues related to speeds, Just hoping someone has relevant experience I can learn from.
Thanks!
