I'm devops intern at startup company, I'm new to proxmox things
they hosted their production application in proxmox (spring boot and mysql) both run in different vm
my task is to migrate that application to aws
what are steps to do this migration?
There are probably a number of ways to accomplish this, but if it were me, I would look to use Veeam Community Edition to backup those VMs and restore them into AWS.
Generally, if you are using EC2 instance, you will only be able to restore data to AWS, not OS images. The only exception might be if you use a dedicated host or a bare metal instance, but that really negates the benefits of running on AWS.

I'm not sure off the top of my head - I'd just be googling for a solution. Veeam has worked well for us to migrate workloads across hypervisors so I haven't bothered to look into other options.
