Migration from openvz CentOS 7 to LXC Proxmox 5.2

Hello,

I have been trying for few days move our current containers based on openvz CentOS 7 to new LXC Proxmox 5.2. I have backup of all containers in tarball. Each container is in separate tarball backup from /vz/private/VEID

When I tried command :
pct restore NEW-VMID vzdump-file

I end up with this message
ERROR: archive contains no configuration file

I have placed vps.conf files inside the tarbal with this information
tmpdir: /var/lib/vz/tmp
storage: /var/lib/vz/private
mode: snapshot
bwlimit: 0

I have look at the forum for example at this link but not sure what I'm doing wrong

Current containers :
uname -r
3.10.0-514.16.1.vz7.30.15

What it might be wrong?

Not sure if you can as it is ploop whennusing openvz7 and not simfs. First you may need to find a way to convert from openvz 7 to 6 then convert back to simfs then try and it should work
