Hello,

Since we're adding new servers, the goal here would be to leave the current servers as they are and migrate to the new servers running 4.2. After looking around, haven't come across a recommended way to approach this scenario. Once this is done, then all new servers take over running 4.2 and would appreciate any insight - can we clone and then import or other techniques?

Thank you,

Chad

Hi Tom,

Thanks, I did come across the upgrade however not upgrading the current servers. However, did some testing and by cloning the VM's on the current, then creating new VM's with the same setup on the new servers. Allowed for a drop-in of the cloned disk and spin-up like nothing ever changed ;)

Would be neat in the future if we could select an existing drive while creating a new VM - either way this works nicely.

Thank you
