My main Proxmox disc (where Proxmox is installed) consist of 2 SSD which i configured as a mirror in Proxmox.
I want to change these 2 discs with 2 bigger ones but i don't want to ruin my Proxmox installation.
The first 2 disc has a capacity of 120GB. I want to change them for disc with a capacity of 500GB.
What is best approach in this?
If i remove one of the disc and replace it with the bigger disc will Proxmox still running or will it crash?
It took a lot of time to come to this configuration so i would not want a situation where i have to install everything again.

The reason behind a mirror is to be able to run off of one disk if the other one breaks, right?
So yes, replace one disk with a bigger disk, resilver the mirror, then replace the other disk, resilver.
Autoexpand should be set on the pool beforehand.

Ok i will try that. That is how a mirror works normally but i was not sure of the procedure in Proxmox. Where i can i check if autoexpand is enabled?

You can check with zpool get autoexpand rpool.
This was more work than i expected. I found out that besides the autoexpand you can also enable autoreplace. Too bad for me the autoreplace function didn't worked so i had to manually do a replace. Thanks for your help in this.
