Migrate from Virtualizor/SolusVM to Proxmox Issue

Got all openvz vms migrated easily. But with VM raw files seem to have an issue.

VMs are online and when a do a Rsync to the other server and start them up I get "Booting from Hard Disk" error on proxmox after create duplicate KVM VM.

Happens with every VM.

Should I rather stop the VMs then do rsync or is their something else not right? I tried windows repair and bootsectr and bootrepair features for mbr still not working.

So a bit last as I made them all IDE same as before.

Not sure what I'm missing as I am quite sure it should be easily working :(

Hey,
why are you migrating your OpenVZ containers? You know, that Proxmox VE 3 will not receive any updates anymore next year(Q1 2016).
Even no security updates.

Thanks. We know that. We just want it moved off so we can cancel the the Virtualizor licences as the backup system they use are GZIP and is slow to a crawl to backup large VMs. Same with r1soft software we used takes very long to backup. When we use FREENAS as a backup server on RAID 6 works beautifully and fast to backup proxmox servers using NFS. Rather than using R1soft which is taking days to backup sometimes with large VMS being added NFS transfer takes only a few hours.

So as Proxmox 4.1 does not support OpenVZ we using PRoxmox 3.4 for now. Then when all is migrated restore them via backups made on NFS server to other servers onto Proxmox 4.1 with LXC.

But we first need to also inform our clients we doing so. So we have a plan and think this will work our well for us.
