Does someone know if these components are supported by PROXMOX VE, i have been seeking for the debian HCL but i cant issue the hardware list command since i haven't purchased the hardware yet.

Concerning these main components:
Mainboard: GIGABYTE GA-MA78LMT-US2H
Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T

Are these supported?
Thanks in advance!

Just a note, all hardware working on RHEL 6.1 it will work also for Proxmox VE (99,99 %)

Hi,
should run - perhaps no onboard-lan (depends on your pve-kernel).
I have running several similliar boxes - but with Phenom X4 and with Asus Mainboards. The Asus-Mainboards has the effort (not all of them) that you can use ECC-Memory which I prefer for pve-server.

I have used 11 M4A785TD-V EVO and 2 M4A88TD-V EVO ASUS boards each with four 4GB ECC RAM modules. (ECC is cheap and highly recommended)
No issues with the boards or the onboard lan and ECC has prevented a couple of crashes when it corrected problems.
Both boards had no issues booting from my Areca RAID card in either pcie slot, I read this is an issue with some boards out there so if you plan to need such functionality always research that before purchasing.

Also have 8 other servers running M4A785TD-M some with ECC some without.
No issues with those boards.

I think these might be ok too but I have yet to confirm, I do believe these all support ECC:
M4A87TD
M4A87TD-V
M5A88-V EVO

Maybe some Gigabyte users will chime in, would be nice to know some other reliable boards......

Hi,
AFAIK Gigabytes boards don't support ECC.
I use following boards with ecc:
ASUS M4A78T-E
ASUS Crosshair IV Formula, 890FX Sockel AM3
Asus Sabertooth 990FX Sockel AM3+ ATX DDR3
