Hey all...

first.. i'm a beginner in 'nix, still :) But i try my best.

I try to install Manjaro Architect 17.04 with i3 "Desktop" as Proxmox 5.0 guest.

This is my qmid.conf
Code:
balloon: 8
bios: ovmf
bootdisk: sata0
cores: 4
efidisk0: local:100/vm-100-disk-2.qcow2,size=128K
ide2: Store:iso/manjaro-architect-17.0.4-stable-x86_64.iso,media=cdrom
memory: 8192
name: Manjaro
net0: virtio=BA:81:1C:32:E2:AC,bridge=vmbr0
numa: 0
ostype: l26
sata0: local:100/vm-100-disk-1.qcow2,size=40G
smbios1: uuid=fea24029-2044-4c1b-bce6-9fc7af86af63
sockets: 2
vga: qxl

The Problem:
In console (noVNC) the system boots, i can type my luks decrypt key, and after that i get a black screen with blinking cursor... so i switch to another tty and can login.. but startx give me:

Morning Udo. Yeah you are right the install works fine. I got the problem just after installation, on the first reboot.

Just read your other suggestione... i will try, now.

Update:

No, even with
Code:
vga: std
or just nothing (Default) it wont work.
The installation was with default display settings, the "vga: qxl" already was from some tests, after i got a black screen.

Anyway i will try another fresh install o_O

Dont work. :(
I also tried to load the
manjaro-i3-17.0.5-stable-x86_64.iso
ISO, and with this it doesnt start the livesystem, too.
So, in my opinion, it is no fault with the installation, but with the DM at all... does anybody can help here?

Hi,
I use the xfce-version and it's work for me (take a short time to get ready).

Ok, i changed Guest from UEFI boot to BIOS boot and it seems to work now.
