Make faster backups through copying?

Hello everyone,

It's a while ago that I was experimenting with Proxmox but I have set it up again and now I want to make a normal network with it. The first time that I did this I made some mistakes when I installed and configured some VMs and to restore it from a backup is ... well ... time consuming and I hoped that there was a way around this. Could you for example just copy the image and if things go wrong replace the original with the copy?
Thanks in advance!

restoring a backup is just as fast as copying the files. just depends where you store the backup or files. (storage speed, network).

but of course, you can copy all manually but the backup tool is doing all this for you (disk files, config files, etc.)

Thanks Tom for your reply.

I was really hoping of a faster way to do this, but if this is true then there isn't. Then I will need to go to my alternative and that is making less mistakes. :D

Thanks again for the reply.
