We installed the latest version of the proxmox mail gateway software. When an e-mail is sent from inside to outside, we get the following error message.
Thank you for your help.

Is 192.168.1.96 your PMG?
Have you configure relaying and relay domain to your local SMPT server?

For outbound mails (from your network to the internet) - you need to add your internal network in GUI->Configuration->Mail Proxy->Networks
and configure your internal server to use the internal port (26) of PMG

I hope this helps!
