I hope someone can help me get this working.
I have a late 2014 16G MacMini with one of Apple's Fusion drives.

It's been a great little workhorse and I converted it to Proxmox about 4 years ago. Mainly to run Windows programs.

My issue is trying to get it's Haswell-ULT Integrated Graphics Controller passed through to any of my Windows Server 2019 or Windows 11 VMs.

I've been through all the documentation as best I can (I'm 66 years old so cut me some slack) and ensured necessary modules and command line option are in place correctly.

The one thing I can't check is whether the BIOS is correctly configured since Apple hides that from the end-user.

Adding a PCI Device and selecting the Integrated Graphics Controller either resets the Proxmox server or makes the VM unresponsive si I'm guessing it can only be the BIOS.

Hardware config for the VM is -

hardware.jpeg

Is there anything else I can do to get GPU pass-through to correctly function?
Thanks heaps for anyone lending a hand

Sorry to jump on your thread as I have no solution but I do have a very similar question. Hope that's ok - it might get some activity going at least!

I am the same age (so please cut me some slack too!) with practically the same computer but with 8GB ram and an SSD. My GPU is also integrated/built-in but is an Intel Iris 5100. Unlike Martin I haven't gone through all the documentation yet because I first wanted to find out if it is even possible to pass-through an integrated, non-PCI GPU. The main info page I found seems to only address PCI pass-through. I hope someone can offer some help.

Have you tried accessing the EFI and changing any relevant settings there, if that's even possible?

Thanks, Mark
