LVM Groups with Network Backing. Do we need to install/configure CLVM?

We are setting up a cluster of Proxmox ver 4.2 hosts using shared LVM Groups with Network Backing via 10GB ISCSI to a Dell MD3800i SAN.
Just looking at the following post for Proxmox ver 1 it mentions that we need to consider using CLVM.

Is this something we need to worry about configuring anymore with version 4.2 or is it done automatically?

Proxmox VE has its own locking implementation, so there is no need to use CLVM (as long as you use the Proxmox tools/GUI).

Hi,

if i manually create a lvm group over a iscsi multipath device and add this lvm group via gui, with shared activated, do i need clvm ?

We are using pve 4.2.

No (as long as you use proxmox tools to manage the storage).
