Hi Team,

I have setup a proxmox box with iscsi then created an LVM volume on.

I installed xp with 20 GB drive then I added a second drive of 30 GB from the LVM.

before adding the 30 GB drive, when doing backup the backup was going as snapshot and everything was going fine.

Now with the 30 GB drive added, I get the following when having backups:

it suspends and resumes that server.

Could anyone assist pls.

My understanding was that if the xp disk was .raw and on an LVM the backups should just work as snapshots and not suspends the vm.

I am still on proxmox on 2.1.

The backups are going on an nfs share.

Cheers,

Raj

the short suspend is necessary to get a consistent LVM snapshot of both hard-disks. (just to note, we are already working on a new backup technology)
