Lost all networking on cluster node.

I have a 3 node cluster. Today, I updated all 3 nodes in succession; however node 3 did not come back online. Logging in at the physical machine, I see that as soon as I get past the boot screen, the NIC "disappears". The connection lights on the switch and on the NIC itself shutoff. The machine boots but I have no network connection. Restarting the network stack has no effect. Any help would be appreciated.
Sounds like a hardware problem. Could you give some more information about your machines? Are all 3 the same? (that way we could exclude the update itself breaking anything, if it works on the other 2)

pveversion -v, lshw -C cpu -C network (or lspci -nnk) output could be useful too.
