Hi , i am using proxmox 5.2 , the problem is in Gui local lvm is showing like totally full and also when running lvs local-lvm is full too ,

in all proxmox i have only one windows server machine , the C: of this vm is has 90 Go free ( disk is on local-lvm)

so i don't know how this is happening , any explanation please !!

Do you have discard [1] enabled on the windows disk? This is needed in order to tell the lvm-thin storage when blocks are deleted/not in use and can be reclaimed. I'm not so familiar with the default behavior of Windows, but as far as I know, they should enable trim by default, so there's nothing to do in the VM.

And just FYI, proxmox VE 5 is currently at its end of life [2] and thus is unsupported. You should consider updating to Proxmox VE version 6 [3].
