[SOLVED] Live migration fails. Can't open tunnel

I have one node in a cluster of five that I can't live migrate too or from. When the VM is off the migration works. They have shared storage connected over NFS.

They all have the same version om services and the same settings.

I get this output when running the migrate:

2022-12-13 10:01:43 ERROR: online migrate failure - can't open tunnel - got strange reply from tunnel (' _ _ ___ _ ____ _ _ ___ ____ ')
2022-12-13 10:01:43 aborting phase 2 - cleanup resources
2022-12-13 10:01:43 migrate_cancel
2022-12-13 10:01:45 ERROR: migration finished with problems (duration 00:00:07)
TASK ERROR: migration problems

do you have anything non-standard in root's profile or bashrc files? could you give the full output of "ssh 172.26.4.114 -- whoami"?

It didn't really survive the copy paste, but it is the name of our cluster. All the host have the same

yeah, that's what's breaking automatic SSH for the pve-cluster.. you need to remove that for non-interactive SSH sessions..
