Hi

I am doing a "proxmox-backup-client backup" from my proxmox server to a PBS with an encryption key - is there anyway I can list/download files from the archive when encrypted with GUI? and

And can I only do "proxmox-backup-client catalog" on the PBS server it self?

(really love this new product!)

on the pbs server this will never be possible (concept of untrusted backup server), but we plan to have the filebrowser also integrated in the pve gui
which can then use the encryption key saved there

no this also works remote, you just have to give the correct repository, see https://pbs.proxmox.com/docs/backup-client.html#repository-locations

Got it and makese totally sense I tried from proxmox with encryption key and it works with dump, shell

don't forget to backup your encryption key (e.g. using proxmox-backup-client key paperkey) in case the system doing the backup fails at some point
