CPU:i3-8100t
6.8.4-2 dmesg
Code:
PVE kernel: i915 0000:00:02.0: Direct firmware load for i915/gvt/vid_0x8086_did_0x3e91_rid_0x00.golden_hw_state failed with error -2

1. Start the virtual machine with direct core display
2. error:unable to read tail (got 0 bytes)
3. In the following seconds, PVE crashed directly.

The exact same configuration 6.5.13-5 is working fine, while the 6.8.4-2 kernel is not available for normal use.

Only the GVT-g related configuration is removed, and the core graphics card passthrough configuration can be retained. It can solve this problem.

I am having this same issue will work fine in old 6.5 kernel but any new kernel will not work. Have you managed to solve the problem?
