There's a lot of talk and excitement around Linux kernel 6.0 release. It seems there is a high belief that io_uring has been improved to a degree that there will be a lot of performance improvements all over the place.

What are the implications of this for Proxmox and what kind of integration schedule are we going to see for this and so forth? I'd like to understand if this will significantly help improve Proxmox VM and LXC experiences and/or improve the multitaskability of running various and many vm guests and containers simultaneously.

It seems that io_uring is already in the kernel being used for Proxmox 7.2, but I am just unclear on what we're going to see here holistically.
