I have a customer with a software using copy protection system with hardware lock (dongle). Its a parallel one.

The System run in a VMare Machine (vmware Server) inside a Suse 10 Linux Server. VMWare map the parallel printer from linux to vm and windows. All works ok.

Its possible a migration to Proxmox KVM ? A now KVM allow guest access the printer port.. but in sush level ?

should work but not extensively tested here - just try.
