All,

Dumb Q probably but I always run either the latest Ubuntu or Windows servers which only run on KVM. Any chance of a KVM-only version?

Just curious...

We currently do not have the resources to maintain 2 versions. But things may change in the future - hopefully ;-)

we already thought about this (latest Kernel and latest KVM) but this split will double a lot of work here and this means development and releases will be much slower and noone wants this now (before 2.x).

(but theoretically it could be possible to compile a new Kernel without openvz and use it on Proxmox VE)

Btw, Ubuntu runs well on openVZ.
