Hi,

Im trying to launch my first server ever for personal use and got recommended to use proxmox.

So i got it installed did the reboot and now it asks for the private login, so i type root and press enter. Now it asks for my password but some how my keyboard gets disabled when i need to type the password. Only the enter button is working.

When i press enter it says wrong pass and starts over.

keyboard was working fine when installing proxmox and in bios no problem.

I did a fresh install, used the default settings with the ip adres and all, didn't help

What could this be?

Thanks

the linux console does not show that you are typing while entering a password - it still works though ;) just enter your password "blind" and press enter. if it does not work (and you are sure you did not mistype), it is probably an issue of locale / keyboard mapping.
