    Hello,

we are using Proxmox 5.4 :
    pve-manager/5.4-10/9603c337 (running kernel: 4.15.18-12-pve)

We want to install Kemp Virtual LoadMaster (VLM) from Linux disk image available on the Kemp Website.

We have tried to install it from the "Create CT" fonctionnality by uploading the tar.gz file into the /var/lib/vz/template/cache folder.

The uploaded template is available in the GUI of proxmox but when we try to create the CT, the following error occured :

    Task Create CT
    Using default stripesize 64.00 KiB.
    Logical volume "vm-4220-disk-0" created.

Use `pct set VMID --arch ARCH` to change.
    Logical volume "vm-4220-disk-0" successfully removed

    Thanks for you help.

You try to run a VM virtual disk as a lxc container, this cannot work.

Ask the creator/vendor of this image file, I do not know what they packaged into it.
