Hi All,
I have run into curious behavior of DHCP under SDN. I have followed the setup based on this page https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Setup_Simple_Zone_With_SNAT_and_DHCP.
My
When I start VM the network interface doesn't have IP address assigned, however under Datacenter / SDN / IPAM I can see IP address 172.31.255.241 allocated for given VMID with correct MAC.
Now, if I use edit for this lease and change the IP address to any other (withing the network range) both within and outside of the DHCP range the VM receives the IP address w/o any problems, but if I change the IP back to 172.31.255.241 the VM doesn't receive it again.
I am running proxmox 9.0.5 as a manual installation on top of debian 13 trixie.
In the end there is nothing blocking me due to the way how I am using proxmox, but found this strange and wanted to share my experience.
