iPhone App in progress !!

Hey people,

happy to announce first beta version of the proxmox iphone app. We are looking for test user.

Please PM me if there's interest. Add what type of Server/OS you're running, how many of them and if possible also for what kind of use. We will then select the pool of test user.

First off, thanks for the many replies. We are now closing the test user pool.

As info, currently the iphone app works only with version 2.0. iPad and Android are coming later.
 
I purchased this app from the U.S. App Store. Unfortunately it's hard to evaluate the app as it seems that logging in to a cluster using PAM auth doesn't work.

I've used QuadProx's Android app, which works really well.

Given that it works perfectly fine logging in using the QuadProx app on Android and using Proxmox's management console, I wonder if there's something I need to enable in terms of the API on the Proxmox side? I didn't see any documentation suggesting that it was necessary. Admittedly, I didn't spend a whole lot of time looking. In either case, the same username and password combination that I successfully use on a daily basis with Proxmox does not work in the iPhone app. The other "problem" with the app is that it hasn't seen any updates since it arrived in the app store, while the QuadProx app has been continuously updated with new features and stability enhancements.

I certainly think it would be worth $5, even with its limited feature set, but with the current issues and complete lack of updates, it's hard for me to recommend the iPhone app to anyone at this time.
