Hi, has anyone ever tried remotely Card (DRAC 5) the VE Proxmox on a Dell server to install? With the installation of Proxmox is mandatory to enter the email address is needed. The console (Java or Active-X) but there's no @ sign transmitted.
Therefore, no installation is possible. Has anyone an answer?

We had the same problem.

We solved that, with a trick.

You can copy the @ icon from text simply by copy&paste in the field.

Hope this will help you.

We installed here 2 PVEs on Dell PE2950 servers with DRAC5 and remote ISO mount (without a physical CD in the server).

I didn't remember having issues to input @ sign during installation. Make sure you are using Internet Explorer 7 as your browser (with ActiveX) and latest DRAC firmware on your server. IE8 and/or Java plugin doens't work properly (according to Dell Gold Tech Support).

Regards,
chopeta
