Hardware: Dell PowerEdge T300 Tower Intel Core Xeon (x3363) 2.83GHz / 24GB ECC DDR2 RAM / 4x1TB SATA/SAS HDDs
The system was running VMware 5.5 for many years and we retired it. I was going to make a sandbox VM server out of it with PROXMOX. I made a bootable USB drive with Etcher and it boots just fine and loads the installation screens - however I cannot see the right-half of the screen (it is like the screen does not size properly).
The server only has a VGA port, and it is connected to a 27" Wide Monitor which can be placed into non-Wide mode (has black bands on the sides for a 4:3 ratio screen). This does not help either.
I am at a loss. I have a USB >> VGA adapter, but I believe that it needs USB 3.0 and this box does not support that.
I do not need the monitor once I get it installed - but any ideas how to get past this?
