Hello Everyone,
I installed PVE 5.1 yesterday everything went fine, I created my Cluster was able to get both Nics in all my servers working properly. I was able to add an iSCSI target so far so good. Then the I gotchya's started popping up.
The first one is after I got the iSCSI target in, I can't store VMs or Containers on it, I have created 2 VMs and 1 container. Please see the pve_iscsi_issue1.png attached to this request. The iSCSI storage is added to a storage pool just because I was told it would be better to organize things. When I create these VMs/Container it asks for storage Resource so I choose the pool it's in, also it is the only storage in the pool also.
As far as I can tell I am doing it correctly. Some folks are saying drop to the command line and run the iscsi command to attach iscsi storage and some are saying it should be fine through the gui.
The Second one is, when I create a container it does not allow me access to it via ssh, I have made sure firewall is off both on host and in the container. I have added my ssh-keys properly I know this. I also make sure the sshd_config is properly configured with listening address, port and PermitRootLogin all set. However I still cannot connect to the LXC container, Which is why I went to promox because I could reduce some of my oversized and resource wasting VMs.
Any help would be appreciated thanks,
Michael
