Installation tips on window 2008 server with Proxmox 4.2

Someone could give me some tips on how to make a reliable installation as possible, of a Win2008 server with Proxmox 4.2?

I read:

but it seems made for previous versions of Proxmox (2, I guess).

Is it still valid those tips?

Is more correct to use standard lvm to store virtual machines?
