Install Ipfire with KVM in proxmox

I want install Ipfire (ipcop,endian) in an VM from Proxmox.
My Hardware has only one NIC this i want use as RED(interface).
Is this possible or i need more as one real NICś for it?

you can assign up to 29 NIC to your KVM guest. but as you only go one physical NIC, it just make sense to test or evaluate ipfire.
