It looks exactly like the install video at 00:09 seconds. It boots to that level and then does nothing else. Keyboard input is non-responsive.
My motherboard is : Gigabyte GA-MA78G-DS3H and I have 4 GB of RAM.
The hard-drive and DVD-ROM burner drive are connected via SATA. The keyboard is a Dell USB keyboard.
I'll try a few things. I dont currently have any blank CDs, only DVDs. The ISO burned ok onto the DVD... it should not matter, should it not? jsut a lot of extra wasted unused space? I had no problems installling Ubuntu on this machine.
- check your disk - you need a CD, not a DVD.
- update motherboard bios
- try using only 2 GB (just for testing if nothing else happens, I remember one board which this issue)
Heheok, it installed correctly, once a PS2 keyboard was installed. The USB keyboard is not recognized.
