Install does not detect raid 0 ?

I just bought DL160 G6 and created raid 0 array config. But when I install proxmox, it does not detect raid 0 config. It detects two disk as single sata disk. What can I do?

Is this something related to proxmox drivers?

Any solution will be very helpful.

Hi,
sounds like fake-raid. On a real HW-raid your os never see the real disks (except you configure passthrough) - you allways see the raid-volumes as an disk.

Sounds like you are right. To use raid array, I need to enable it in bios. With hardware raid, I think I do not need to am I correct?
Proxmox does not support fake raid?

Ok I ordered HP P212/ZM Smart Array Controller I hope proxmox does not cause any detection issue.

what the problem ? raid 0 aggregate two disks in one, proxmox only see one disk, it's your raid 0.

yes it is raid 0 (2 disks into one) but proxmox detects two disk instead one. it is like I did not configured any raid config. I ordered HP P212/ZM Smart Array Controller

B110i SATA RAID Controller (RAID 0/1/1+0) . But to use it I must enable disk mode to raid from sata. So I think it is only software raid.

yes, it appears you have a soft raid controller. Proxmox do not support this kind of raid.
