Hello,

I'm installing 5.1 on a Supermicro X10DRH, with a thumb drive. Once I select install Proxmox I get the following error.

[0.000000] [Firmware Bug]: TSC_DEADLINE Disabled due to Errata; Please update microcode to version: 0xb000020 (or later).

It then continues to load drivers, and then proceeds to search for a CDROM drive. Tries like 5 times and then gives up and says to hit <CTRL-D> or type exit to reboot.

I created the thumb drive with the ISO image and Etch.

Is this a bug, or did I do something wrong?

Thanks,
Daniel

Update.

The CD-ROM searching issue was a bad flash drive. With a new flash drive Proxmox installed successfully.

Hopefully I can use APT to update the microcode, but have not tried that yet.

the microcode warning is a false positive, will be fixed in a future kernel update.
