Hi,
i have one question. We have a proxmox cluster installed on server with 1 disk for OS (didnt recognized that one was missing on delivery)
Now we have installed a second disk to the proxmox pve host and want to add it like a raid1.
Current situation:
Device Start End Sectors Size Type
/dev/nvme4n1p1 34 2047 2014 1007K BIOS boot
/dev/nvme4n1p2 2048 1050623 1048576 512M EFI System
/dev/nvme4n1p3 1050624 1000215182 999164559 476.4G Linux LVM

Is it possible to extend the LVM to raid1 or move content to a new software raid over eg /dev/nvme4n1 and /dev/nvme5n1 without reinstalling this node?

Best regards,
Volker

PVE is using ZFS for software raid. But to turn a single disk into a raid1 you would have installed it as ZFS. The only other supported software raid is btrfs, but that is just experimental, so ZFS would be better for production.
