Hey Proxmox staff,

this is mainly an info about something I just learned - and because I use usbip with Proxmox please have it on your radar too when planning kernel upgrades!!

According to https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=208267 it seems that kernel 5.7 up to at least 5.8.5 Breaks usbip!! So PLEASE DO NOT consider using this kern range in proxmox ... else usbip would be broken if used by someone!

We use Ubuntu LTS Kernels. Looking at the Ubuntu Releases, version 5.4 of the kernel should stay for a while in Proxmox VE. As a consequence, it is likely that version range 5.7 to 5.8.5 will not be used in Proxmox VE and that this bug about USB/IP will not come to light.
