Hi,

I have a PBS server running, that have been performing backups for the past few days now - and im starting to believe, that the datastore usage shown in the WebUI is incorrect.
This is the backups on the backup server:

And this is the datastore usage according to PBS:

Im aware that PBS dedups and compresses, but there are atleast 20GB of unique and already compressed data across the nodes - so i would expect the real PBS usage to be higher.

How can i check, what the real usage is?

Well, in the first pic there are VZdumb files. This storage is not on the PBS!

Hi,

Not sure i understand - the bckdir01 is a directory, that is mapped from the Proxmox Backup Server (if i understand it correctly) ?

Lets start with the storage configuration on your PVE and lets see how you configured your backups.

I just realized the brainfart :) I had added the local disk, instead of the PBS storage - my bad!
