I need to install MAAS in a Proxmox container

Hello everyone, I hope I am posting in the right place.
I am trying to install MAAS on a container because it is faster and lighter.
I am not an expert in Proxmox, I know it uses LXD, I tried to install MAAS on a laptop using LXD running on Ubuntu and it worked.
What are the differences between the LXD that is installed in Proxmox and the LXD that I install in Ubuntu on my laptop?

Is there a way to configure LXC or LXD in Proxmox to be able to install MAAS?
