I was just updating a manpage on the wiki from what I copied out of a terminal, and spent an entire hour trying to get it to format properly.
I couldn't make sense out of how it handles spacing- the text in my editor is fixed width, and I thought that's what the wiki does.
I'm using the most recent version of Notepad++, updated this fall- I don't think it changed it's text handling- tab is still a default tab in it.
It seems to do with tabs & carraige returns but I don't see what it is.
I got it to be readable for the most part but the header & footer still aren't symmetrical & don't match.
Here's a screenshot of the page in the editor & how it ends up displaying on the wiki, maybe someone can explain what the problem is.
