I can not access the graphical interface of proxmox

Hi,

to use the GUI you have to open a web browser, usually on a secondary device on the same network, and open the website https://192.168.100.2:8006 (don't forget the "s" in https and the port (the ":8006" at the end)).

If you want to set up a graphical interface on the Proxmox node itself you can follow this guide [1] and set up a desktop environment of your liking. From there, you can then install a browser and visit the website mentioned above.

Salut,

I know but when I put the ip address in the browser it shows me that this site is inaccessible

What exact error message does your browser show you? Are you sure that you added the port correctly and that you are using https and not http? Can you ping your Proxmox server from that device or maybe even use ssh to connect to it?

Also keep in mind that your client needs to be on the same subnet as the server. You have choosen to install PVE with the default IP 192.168.100.2/24 so if your client got an IP other then 192.168.100.1 to 192.168.100.255 you won't be able to access thr webUI. In case your router is using antoher subnet like 192.168.0.0/24 you should reinstall PVE with a correct and free IP that is part of your LANs subnet.

we are all on the same subnet

Browsers are likely to hide it, but did you prepend the IP address + port with "https://"? So you have "https://192.168.100.2:8006"? Otherwise the browser will try to open a non encrypted connection which will fail.
