Help!
I have a partially running server but had an issue with HDD arrays. I have gone through the HP SSACLI install process. Unfortunately, I ran into this error:
root@prox:~# ssacli ctrl all show
Error: No controllers detected. Possible causes:
- The driver for the installed controller(s) is not loaded.
- On LINUX, the scsi_generic (sg) driver module is not loaded.
See the README file for more details.

I was using an Intel RS2BL080 with a RES2SV240 expander but it didn't recognize the 3x4tb drive, only showing 3x1.999tb drives. I swapped it out for this HP H240 card, also through the RES2SV240 expander. I do realize that this will probably nerf the speeds of the connections, but it should see larger drives.

Hardware:
MoBo: ASUS x99-e WS
CPU: intel xeon e5-2690 v4
RAM 128gb LRDDR4 (4x32gb)
PCI-e: Radeon Pro w3100 (video output GPU)
-------Nvidia Tesla p4 (encode GPU)
-------Intel x520 DA4 (4port SFP+ 10g NIC)
-------HP h240 SAS controller with a RES2SV240 expander
HDD's all on raid card
--3x 2tb Skyhawk drives (Seagate)
--4x 1tb wd red drives
--2x 2tb firecuda drives (Seagate)
--3x 4tb Ironwolf drives (Seagate)
