Having some wonderful issues with my proxmox 1.9 install I have 2 160gb sata 7200rpm drives and a lsi scsi card that is attached to a freedom9 device however when i install the drives show up and the scsi drive is first followed by the first and second sata drive and when i install on the first sata drive it installs correctly according to the gui but when i reboot there is nothing detected. when i tried installing to the other 160gb drive it failed and im not sure why it didn't tell me. any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!! would like to switch over to proxmox but due to all the hardware issues it just hasn't been feasable yet.

Is it really necessary? I didn't have this issue with other installs. plus i just wanted to use it for testing purposes untill it proves reliable.
well i feel a little better now i updated the bios earlier and the first few times it booted some of the boot options looked the same and i noticed on install it would read the drives sdc sdd sde there was no sda or sdb but this time i used proxmox 2.0 and things had seem to come up in the bios different the drives showed up as sda sdb and sdc and now everthing boots properly kinda strange but owell it works!
